HE LOVESSSSS IT! My son just turned 2 last week but has been potty training for months since he had shown interest. We have had 0 accidents on the floor that the potty is on when usually it's everyday! He runs over, goes potty then runs back! Need one for every room! Love it. (Mostly love not cleaning pee off my floor!)
I battle with my son a lot about potty time. I can tell he needs to go but he’ll refuse to sit on the potty. Since we got this it’s a lot easier to get him to try to go. He seems to be more okay with standing next to this than with getting up and sitting on the potty. Weird kid, but it works for me. And in an emergency he can get to this quicker than he can get on the potty. We’ve bought four of these for each bathroom in our house and for the grandparents houses so it definitely works for us. Only problem is his sister wants to use it too...
This is tiny and so cute you guys! Lol. My son had his mind blown when he saw urinals at Target and I got this to surprise him. He adores it. I'm sure this will help with potty training. There is less work for the little ones. So that (I feel) encourages them to just stand and....well.. peepee lol =) give it a try
I was so tired of cleaning pee off the toilet seat and happy to use this cute little frog. My 19 month old loves to aim and make the tongue spin around. As other reviews have noted- sometimes the tongue gets stuck but it still serves as a good aiming spot. The suction cups did not work on our wall so we tried the command hook that came with the product- this worked for a few days but did not hold up against my boy who liked to hold on to the frog while peeing. my husband put a screw in the wall for it and now it stays put.
I gave this a 4 because it's so much tinier than I expected. Maybe 15-17" high and 6-8" wide. That being said, we still like it. My son is about to turn 3. But he was able to quickly catch on to how to use this. It doesn't hold much, so make sure you empty it every time. Also, there may be a splashing problem. That's why I connected mine to my walk-in shower wall. I can just rinse away accidents. It comes with suction cups and a few double sided sticky foams. I put the foams on the suction cups to stick it to the wall. The cups wouldn't have held by themselves. It's great for beginners. But probably too small for kids over 5.
